England vs Netherlands ended up stylishly as Ben Stoked hit a century and Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid took out 3 wickets each against Netherlands. Just when we thought England had lost the rankings, they topped them, becoming the 7th team in the standings with 6 losses, two wins, and a net run rate of -0.885 (4 points).
Unfortunately, CWC2023 will not be remembered by the English people. It is by far one of the most disturbing ODI World Cups for England. Even with top players, England only won 2 matches so far.
Their first victory came against Bangladesh, and today, as they encountered the Dutch, England got their second win with the help of 339 runs with a loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.
England dominated the match as we witnessed the Netherlands batting order struggle to hit the balls delivered by England’s bowlers. The Netherlands, as they proceeded to chase the target, lost all the wickets at 37.2 overs.

However, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh also have their last match remaining, and they are also looking to end the tournament with a ranking under the 8th place since only 8 members will play the 2025 champions trophy.
